Dear Parishioners,
October is the month dedicated to the Holy Rosary. In my personal life, the rosary has been
one of my most powerful daily prayers. The rosary is a biblical prayer composed of the mysteries of Jesus’ life. The Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be are in the Bible and the rosary is a universal prayer prayed all over the world in every country in every language. It is also a prayer of intercession which we can do for ourselves, our families, the sick, or for some important personal intention. It is a prayer that unites the family and for this reason, I invite all the parish families to make the commitment to pray the rosary daily especially this month.
For this reason also we are having a special event in our parish at St. Mary Church and we
invite you to participate in the Living Rosary. Each person will hold a candle to represent a bead on the rosary which will be lit with each Hail Mary. We will close with benediction. Please join us this Sunday October 6 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at St. Mary Church. Looking forward to seeing you and sharing this special event with you.
